Remember Your First Time?

I remember it like it was yesterday.

My palms were sweaty.

I was a little bit nervous and a fair bit nauseous…

Maybe it was a combo of the warm beer and the heat on South Padre Island…

But, my emotions were bucking wild…

Like a bull coming out of the chute.

I asked myself, “Am I really about to do this?”

My girlfriend was sitting next to me…

Calm as the water on a cool, still morning.

And then it happened.

“I did it!” I screamed with excitement!

She startled and nearly fell out of the bed…

“I sent my first email out to my list!”

Normally the look she gave me meant I was in trouble…

But this time, it didn’t matter.

I had done something that would change the course of my business…

For the better!

Now, sending a single email may seem like a small task for most.

But, let me ask you a quick question…

Do you remember the first time you got over a mental hurdle in your business…?

How that one little thing, once you were past it, made you feel like you’d conquered the world?

While most business owners get stuck, chasing their tails in circles…

Doing “organic” stuff on social media…

Or chasing the next shiny object…

There’s one common trait amongst the entrepreneurial elite…

They… Take… ACTION!

It doesn’t matter how big…

Or maybe something small…

They figure out what has to get done.

And then DO IT.

Make sense?

That said…

I’d love to hear from you!

Can you send me a quick reply?

Tell me about the first time you climbed a mountain in your business.

Could be as simple as “sent my first email” or give me more details.

Rooting you on,

Robert “First Timer” Segelquist
